Community Guidelines
Community is Geerho's place for verified members to connect, talk and share their honest opinions, including reviews of our apps. Only ID-verified members can post, comment, like or see posts, so everyone you meet here is a real person with one account. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. You accept them once before your first post.
Our promise to you
Verified members are our most important people, and we will respect every one of you.
- Your honest opinion is welcome. Tell us what you like and what you hate about Geerho, iOtomates Wash, iOtomates Resto and Xenpen. A review is never hidden or removed for being negative about us, and there is no rule against criticizing Geerho.
- No action without a reason. We won't remove your posts, restrict you or block you without a reason. Every decision names the exact guideline below and the post or comment it's about, and tells you in plain words why.
- A warning comes first. For most problems you get a friendly warning before anything else. Only threats of violence and illegal content can lead to a restriction without a warning.
- Restrictions are short and fair. A restriction lasts 1 to 30 days and only stops you from posting, commenting and liking. You can still read, message people and use all our apps.
- Reports alone don't punish you. If three members report the same post, it's hidden while a human moderator looks at it. That's never an automatic removal or ban, and you can still see your post, marked "hidden while it's reviewed". If it follows the guidelines, it comes back and we tell you.
- No secret punishments. We never hide your posts from others without telling you ("shadow-banning").
- You can appeal. You can appeal any warning, removal or restriction once, in Profile → Community record. A Super Admin (a person, not a computer) reads it and decides, and tells you why. If we got it wrong, we undo it.
- Everything is written down. Every moderator decision is logged with its reason, and you can see everything about your account in Profile → Community record.
The guidelines
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We remove such content and may suspend or ban accounts that post it. A Community restriction lasts 1 to 30 days; serious or repeated breaches, such as threats, illegal content or abusing other members, can also lead to suspending or removing the account under our Terms of Service.
- Respect people. Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, bullying, insults aimed at a person, hate or slurs about race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or nationality.
- No threats or violence. Don't threaten anyone, encourage violence or self-harm, or celebrate hurting people. If someone is in danger, call local emergency services.
- Be honest. No scams, fake reviews or pretending to be someone else, a business you don't represent, Geerho or Geerho Support. Review only apps you've actually used. Geerho staff never ask for your password, codes or payment in a post or message.
- Keep private information private. Don't post anyone's address, phone number, ID, private messages or photos of them without permission.
- No spam. Don't post the same thing over and over, flood hashtags or post misleading links. Sharing your own business is fine when it's relevant and not repeated.
- No sexual or graphic content. Keep posts and photos suitable for everyone.
- Nothing illegal. No selling drugs or weapons, stolen goods, or anything that exploits children. We report child exploitation to the authorities.
Your tools
- Report a post or comment and choose the guideline it breaks. Reports are private.
- Mute someone to stop seeing their posts in your feeds. They aren't told.
- Block someone to stop seeing each other's posts and messages.
- Delete your own posts and comments at any time.
Fair-use limits
To keep Community calm: up to 10 posts an hour and 30 a day, 30 comments an hour, and 20 reports a day.
