Delete your Geerho account

How to delete your account in Geerho, the app for iPhone, iPad and Android made by Geerho Tech LLC, what is deleted right away, and what we keep and for how long. Deleting your account is free and can't be undone.

Delete it in the app

1. Open the Geerho app on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone and sign in.
2. Tap Profile, then Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account, then Delete Account again to confirm. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm too, so Geerho is also removed from your Apple ID.

Or ask us by email

Can't open the app? Email support@geerho.com from the email address on your Geerho account, with the subject “Delete my Geerho account”. If that address isn't one you can send from (for example, you used Apple's Hide My Email), email us from any address with your @username, and we'll confirm the account is yours before we delete it. We reply when it's done.

What's deleted right away

When you delete your account, it's deleted at once, with the content that belongs to it, including:

• Your account and sign-in methods, your profile (username, display name, photo, bio and city), your earlier usernames, and who you follow.
• Your messages, and your support requests with their messages and attachments.
• Your verification result, and the legal name, date of birth and one-way ID hashes Geerho holds; your home address.
• Two-step verification (the authenticator secret and recovery code hashes), your last active time, and your push notification tokens.
• Your Geerho Rewards points and their history, and any beta testing check-offs and reviews from before October 27, 2026.

What we keep, and for how long

We keep some information after you delete your account only where the law requires it or to keep people safe, as our Privacy Policy explains:

• Messages deleted for everyone (and their photos, videos, voice messages, files and locations): a private copy is kept for 1 year after deletion, even if the sender deletes their account, and longer while a report about it is open or it's preserved for a legal investigation. Only moderators reviewing a report can see it.
• Reports about messages and members: up to 2 years after the report is resolved, to prevent repeat abuse, with your name removed from them.
• Community reports you sent, and Community moderation records and appeals about you: deleted with your account.
• Geerho Tech LLC's business and tax records (for example, payments for a business subscription): as long as required for tax and accounting, generally 7 years.
• Owner Console change log (who changed what in one of our apps, when and why): kept as a company record for as long as Geerho runs those apps.
• ID images, face data and ID details held by Didit, our identity verification provider: only as long as needed to complete the check and meet legal obligations, and never longer than 3 years after your last interaction.
• Backups are overwritten in the normal course of operations.

We may also keep information when we must to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our agreements.

Your accounts in our other apps

Deleting your Geerho account doesn't delete your accounts inside our other apps (iOtomates Resto, iOtomates Wash and Xenpen). Delete those in each app, for example in iOtomates Resto: Settings → Delete account. An account in the old Geerho marketplace app (before October 27, 2026) is deleted in that app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing us.
